About Heather Weaver
I was born in Colorado, raised around the US, and ended up in New Orleans. I started writing code in middle school (gotta get that good Myspace profile). Since then I’ve gone on to get a theatre design degree, learn SEO copywriting, teach LEGO robotics, build several dozen websites and web apps, and do some deep dives into computer science. I’m entirely self-taught (except for that visual basic class in 10th grade), and learning is my greatest passion.
Today, I’m doing a lot of things. I’m working as a full-stack staff engineer at ZenBusiness, where I’m building accessible websites and leading performance initiatives. I’m also building sites for local businesses in my small town. I’m writing articles and tutorials, and working on new video content. In my free time, you’ll usually find me in the kitchen baking or working on my fermentation station.
